Bryan disagreed with the rating and said:
I'm not sure this passes. The only scenes where I can recall two women talking to each other are the Queen of Transylvania asking Eliza to dance with her son and Eliza and Mrs Higgins discussing Henry and the Colonel's behaviour towards Eliza. Am I forgetting something? There is a scene where un-named female cast members are talking in a group as they shell peas, but this is background noise.

Mrs. Pearce has an extensive conversation with Eliza while getting her situated with the house--its bathroom, bedroom, and what a hot bath is, and how she and the staff have to wash her. It continues as Eliza resists and Mrs. Pearce tries to convince her to take off her clothes.

At the Ascott Opening Race, Mrs. Higgins greets Lady Boxington.

Then Mrs. Higgins introduces herself to Eliza, who responds with "How do you do? How kind of you to let me come." She is then introduced to Lady Boxington and Mrs. Eynsford-Hill.

Following that, Mrs. Eynsford-Hill talks about the weather and sickness, causing Eliza to respond that her aunt died as a result of influenza. Her slang confuses Mrs. Higgins, who asks for clarification and Eliza responds. Lady Boxington also wonders if Eliza's aunt was truly killed, to which Eliza responds that she believes her aunt was killed.
