Dr. Mierzwiak's wife and Mary exchange one sentence about Dr. Mierzwiak.

I don't think there are any conversations in this film that don't have something to do with someone of the opposite sex.

Not exactly true, Crystal. Dr. Mierzwiak and Stan (Mark Ruffalo) do exchange some technical details of the memory cleansing operation. But your major point is correct. How often do two men in this film NOT talk about a woman? Not very often. The film is a love story, after all.

The film is not an exception to the rule, however, it also lacks any double standard: the men talk to each other about the women, not about Important Man Business.

I think Clementine has a few exchanges with Joel's mom when they're back in the 70's (and Joel's under the table).

I think there's a conversation between Kirsten Dunst's character and a patron of Lacuna about the memory erasing procedure ("I'm sorry, but you can't get your memory erased more than 3 times a year" or something). However, I can't remember if it was more than one line or not.

Though a few lines are about Joel, well keeping an eye on him and making sure the baby is okay, Clem and his mother to have a back and forth that isn't, "Would you help me strain some green beans?" "No I wouldn't." "Thank you so much." then again, "Do you have anything to drink? I know its not five but.." "I would die for one"

IMO I don't think Joel's mom counts as a name, but to some it does. The movie also would fail the reverse bechdel which I would consider a draw... =/

This is one of the films that would barely pass the "reversed Bechdel test"

It actually pass the test, the conversations between Joel's mom and Clementine.
I don't think that the phone conversation between Mary and an unknown female patient (who is named by Mary but I can't recall her name) counts, since we don't see the patient. But the above conversation between Mother and Clem about cooking and wine does pass.
