The climax of the movie has Barbara Kent confronting Greta Garbo about how she should intervene to save her two lovers from killing each other. So it has two women talking to each other, but just about the male protagonists.

Agree with indy2912. There is also a conversation between Hertha and Leo's mother about Leo. Or doesn't Leo's mother count as a named character? Well, in that case there's still the conversation between Hertha and Felicitas that indy2012's referring to. So the movies passes 2/3.
