Filip disagreed with the rating and said:
There are two named female characters in this film: Annabella Smith and Pamela. But they do not talk to each other; Annabella is murdered before Pamela's first appearance.
Pamela talks briefly to the woman credited as "The innkeepers wife", but she is handcuffed and threatened by Hannay at the moment, so I don't think it counts.

I disagree as well, for the same reasons mentioned by Filip. Plus, the innkeeper's wife does not have a name.

I agree with previous comments, this doesn't pass the test. It gets an 1/3 score.
In the Jordan's house party scene, a few more named female characters are introduced: Luisa Jordan (credited as Mrs. Jordan, but named in the film) and her daughters Patricia (uncredited) and Hillary (uncredited). They do not speak with another woman, actually Patricia doesn't speak at all, and her roles are totally irrelevant. At the end we can see Hllary and an old woman leaving the party and talking to each other, but the conversation is inaudible.
By the way, wheter Pamela is handcuffed or not is completely irrelevant for this test. That conversation doesn't count because the housekeeper is not named.
