In the begining, the protagonist Eva and her friends Kelly, Anthony and Robin are talking about her 30th birthday.
When she returns home, Eva's sister Valerie breaks into her home and they have an exchange about how Eva could've killed her because she assumed her to be a burglar/killer, how Eva's hidden spare key is too easily to find, and Valerie's gift of a new home security system for Eva.
Even though the plot and the majority of conversations throughout the movie primarily revolve around Eva's dating life with different men and the suspicion that one of them might be a serial killer, the movie passes all 3 tests.
