This docudrama details the murder of the three Mirabel sisters, political dissidents who were murdered in 1960 for their role in the rebellion against General Trujillo of the Dominican Republic. Roughly half the cast is female, and while many of the conversations are about men (most notably, dictator Trujillo), the women also talk about politics, sex, family, activism, etc.
