Theres only a handful of named female characters, several are prostitutes and most are victims of Mars male-dominated society. The two lead females fight but never have a conversation. And in a roundabout way they are fighting over a man.
Its pretty typical of a Hollywood dumb action film dominated by men. Good entertainment but not at all feminist. The original short story is much more cerebral but also treats women like sex objects or punching bags.

It passes two of the three, for all that it is worth. Because Melina and Thumbelina talk to each other. But they talk about men. Melina:"Honey take care of Tony, will'ya." Thumberlina:"No problem, if ya need any help with this one, give me a howler." Therefore Thumberlina does reply in worry of Melina, but it is still about men, and finally Melina wasnt allowed to reply to her offer of help, wich at least would have given them some dynamic beside men. ... PS: the fight scene between Melina and Lori is also about the resistence, but they barely speak. ... So no it does not pass the third, but the two first ones through the above quoted conversation and named women.
