Two of the main characters, Jessie and Lee, are women, and they appear in most scenes, often without discussing a man. In one particular scene, they are the only characters present, discussing topics unrelated to a man, including another woman.
They play a significant role in the plot, arguably more important than the male characters. There are also other women in the movie, though with less prominent roles, such as the White House spokeswoman and a member of the SWAT team in one of the final scenes.
