Enriched with tons of substantial dialogue between women. Honestly, it would be impossible to write out every instance in detail without essentially typing out a large portion of the film.
The majority of the examples involve the police officer (Gladys) interrogating, scheming with, or otherwise discussing with the other women characters, almost always involving the case of the letters.
There's also a handful of conversations between: Rose and her daughter Nancy (mostly about guitar), Edith and Rose (getting to know each other, Edith "forgiving" Rose, etc), and the Woman's Wiste group members (when they're introduced they talk about who they think is guilty).
