Bechdel Test Movie List

This film passes at least 2 of the three tests. My memory is fuzzy about if it passes the 3rd since a lot of the plot, and therefore dialogue, revolve a lot around Rocket but multiple women interact with one another. Nebula and Mantis talk frequently, as do Nebula and Gamora. Gamora and War Pig talk with one another during their fight and Lylla and Floor interact with one another in multiple scenes. I'd actually be quite surprised if the 3rd test is failed, considering how many times women interact in this film but I struggle to remember the dialogue well enough.

Gamora and Mantis talk about how Gamora is only helping for units when they first meet. Ayesha talks to Gamora about picking her up from the Bowie and she sends her the location, not to mention the tons of other interactions between all the names women characters in this movie, it definitely passes.

This has many named female characters who have a conversation. An I’m only 8 mins in and Cosmo and Nebula have already had a conversation about her being a bad dog - which is not about a man so there
