Bechdel Test Movie List

The movie is hosted by a woman, who interviews both men and women on topics relating to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Polygamy is mentioned, but it is only one of the many topics that they go over and most do not specifically talk about men. Later on in the movie the mother of a preparing missionary, named Dawn, talks about her life experiences and how she found the Church. Her friends and the missionaries who met with her and introduced her to the Church also talk about their interactions with her and you can see them interacting with each other beyond the interview as they celebrate the woman's son getting his assignment for his two-year mission. There is also a depiction of an adherent of the faith from Costa Rica, a woman named Carolina, who shows empowerment through being a professional boxer.
