Bechdel Test Movie List

The film has a very large cast of named female characters, who spend the great majority of the film speaking to eachother about things other than a man. Very few conversations are about a man, men, or things that a man has done, with most of their conversations talking about their plot-important participation in the fictional, female participant-only tank combat sport of "Senshado" (Officially translated as "Tankery" in English), the plot-important upcoming closure of their beloved all-girls' highschool academy, or their daily lives together. The main cast, consisting of five girls-- Miho Nishizumi, Yukari Akiyama, Saori Takebe, Hana Isuzu and Mako Reizei frequently converse among eachother over the course of the Senshado matches, starting with the match seen in media res at beginning of the film, as do the other named secondary female characters, who themselves are either the main casts' teammates, or match opponents.
