Bechdel Test Movie List

The film has a female protagonist (Claudia). After the first scene between another female character (Anna) and her father, Anna and Claudia have a brief chat where Claudia says that she'll wait for Anna, but Anna then says that she'll go to a cafe instead. They then talk about Anna's boyfriend with whom Anna was supposed to meet, while Claudia would wait outside, but rather than talk about the boyfriend, they actually start talking about the nature of long-distance relationships. A few moments later, Claudia and Anna talk about how they slept last night, and they do not even mention men. Claudia and Anna go on a cruise with friends, and a nice swim in the ocean is interrupted by Anna's screams for shark. Having come back to the cruise ship to change clothes, Anna and Claudia talk about clothes. Anna also reveals to Claudia that she lied about the shark attack. Claudia does verbally speculate that the reason for Anna's strange behavior was Anna's boyfriend, from whom Anna has become estranged, but they do not really discuss the topic. This film clearly passes just by these scenes alone, but there is plenty more to choose from in the film.
