Bechdel Test Movie List

In the beginning of the film, the female protagonist's (Lilly Moffat) female housekeeper (Mrs. Watty) arrives to the house with her daughter (Bessie), and Bessie and Mrs. Watty talk about the place as well as a red dress Bessie saw in London. There are also many scenes where Lilly Moffat talks with a woman (Miss Ronberry) about the school she runs, but these conversations do include at least mentions of male characters because the school she runs is for young uneducated boys. Regardless, the film passes just for that opening scene with Mrs. Watty and Bessie.
