I can remember a brief moment of rules 2 and 3 when Loretta and her best friend talk about her going on stage for the book signing event, however, the conversation quickly changes to speaking about Dash. I also can't remember the name of her best friend at the moment.

The best friend was called Beth and was also Loretta’s publisher. They talk at length about Loretta’s outfit, Allison the social media manager (who is also present and talks, though nobody says anything to her), Loretta’s new book sales and reviews and the potential impact of the book tour. It isn’t until after a scene transition that Beth mentions Dash.

There is also some dialogue between Beth and Allison later in the movie.


There is substantial dialogue between Loretta and Abigail but that’s irrelevant because, as the name suggests, Abigail is a man.
