The scene with the casting agent still has Gary in it, and he even told Alana what to answer beforehand / interrupts her to make her change her answer. The scene with the sister is indeed talking about men, so according to me it doesn't pass the test at all.

I agree with Jody. The rating is correct: Licorice Pizza passes the Bechdel test. It does not matter if a male character is present in a scene where two female characters talk -- that is not one of the three criteria.
