Passes early on when Anita helps Maria get ready for the dance. Maria complains about the white dress Anita has her wear, saying it makes her look like a child. Anita disagrees, but gives her a red belt.
In addition, the first verse of the song "America" has the Puerto Rican women chime in when Anita sings about life in the USA before the guys join in.
