Few named women
Mary, Mary of Magdala, Herodias,Salome,
Pilates Wife
All these have conversations, with men but also Salome with Herodias and Mary with Mary Magdalene, mostly the subject of these conversations is Jesus or John the Baptist,
But in one scene Mary invites Mary of Magdala in her house,
The conversation starts about Jesus ( is this the house of Jesus ) but then goes to the subject officer together, that Magdalene is a woman of sin and that Mary still will invite her in her house and then Mary explains that when a lost lamb is found you don’t reject it you welcome it back
It’s a very 1961 bible appropriate depiction of women, but it passes the test, imho considering the movies context, surprisingly, there are
Many more modern movies on the same subject with far less female representation
