On outskirts of Tokyo, mother-in-law Tetsu hoards her money, reminding daughter-in-law Yuriko that it's Tetsu's house they're all living in. Young woman lodger, Miyoko, has started a fire in her room and has to be evicted. Sister Sakura shows up wanting to borrow money, while other sister Ayame wants to rent the empty room to her boyfriend. Three thieves who are staking out the house. They have trouble getting a chance to go in. A comedy thriller that works.
