Elsa talks to Melinda a bit near the star about the prospects of human bioengineering. She also talks with Dren quite extensively through the whole movie.

While there are parts that are arguably misogynistic, the movie passes all tests without question.

Elsa and Melinda have a number of scenes together wherein they converse, none of those times being about men. They even close the movie. I think this film poses difficult questions about gender and sex, and while I do see a male bias (Eve/sin parallels and more), there are vulnerabilities evident in all roles.

another demonstration that Bechdel test is only the beginning. this flick is arguably misogynistic only if you are uncomfortable with a movie that raises difficult sex/gender questions but (spoiler alert) merely ends up at incest with a scantily-clad adolescent in service of the classic slasher sex-leads-to-death-and-destruction trope.
