Much like the original 1947 version, this remake has Dorey talking to her daughter Susan on various topics, but since Susan is a child it's debatable whether this counts.

Why shouldn't it count? Making the age of the characters relevant I think is taking the rules a little too legalistically. Susie's age shouldn't make her less female. Child characters count as females for Bechdel test passing all the time.
