Bechdel Test Movie List

There are three female characters: Philippa, Hooper and Catherine. While Hooper is part of the story, she is only involved half of the film and very slightly. Meanwhile, Catherine and Philippa are only in one scene respectively, and not together, but they are pivotal in them.

Unfortunately, not only is this film a particularly poor telling of both history and Shakespeare's Henry IV, but historically important women such as Joan of Navarre are omitted entirely, and others such as Catherine of Valois and Philippa, Queen of Denmark, Sweden and Norway, have their importance massively understated.
