At the yard sale, a little girl picks up Woody and asks her mom if they can keep him. The mom says that Woody is broken, and tosses him on a nearby table. Neither character is named, nor seen again, but they are both female, and they do talk to each other, even if they do talk about a man (at least, a toy man).

Actually yes! it really does pass because of the barbies! they do talk to each other while giving the other toys a tour of Al's toy barn when they are looking for woody.

In fact, Dallas Robinson, there's only one Barbie in the car during the tour in the store. She is being the guide on a car full of men, so it doesnt count. I'm not sure, though, if in the previous scene, when there is a little pool party, the Barbies talk to each other. I remember they are singing (does a group of girls singing together count as a conversation?) and they are dancing and they are partying, but I'm not sure if there's a dialogue in there. I would have to rewatch it in order to be sure.

Its fail is not as massive as the first "Toy Story"'s fail. It is a still fail, though: the girl and her mother at the yard sale are minor, unnamed characters, and the Barbies do not talk to each other (one of them say "What a great party" to everyone, and no one answers). So yeah, 1 out of three tests. On better news, we have a new major character who is female (Jessie), and the tour guide Barbie is named and kinda relevant too.

Named female characters include Jessie, Bo Peep, Mrs. Potato Head, Barbie, Molly, and Mrs. Davis (Andy's mom). The only two female characters who talk to each other are the little girl and her mom at the yard sale, but they're not named and they talk about Woody.
