Also, Chef and Bridget talk several times about Bridget's job, especially when Chef gives Bridget more work to do.

It clearly passes the test.

There is the incidental dialogue around cleaning and cooking between Chef and Bridget which might, just, pass the test. However, there is also a long conversation between Poppy and Bridget regarding the ramifications of Bridget's actions and Bridget's motivations for performing them. This conversation takes place on the balcony outside the feast near the end of the movie - trying to avoid spoilers!

This conversation might be what Edward is referring to.

So without question it passes the test.

This film was definitely made by people aware of the Smurfette problem.

Both the Trolls and Burgens are 50% female.

This is true if you talk about the main characters, and it remains true as you include incidental characters and even extras.

I was surprised that both the Trolls and Burgens featured approximately 50% women, even in the extras (I had expected to find fewer women among the Burgens, since the whole species mostly exists to create gross or slapstick visual gags).

This movie passes the test, as Poppy the main character, talks to Bridget about her self worth, and how she doesn't need to change to please others.
