Lilo and her sister talk about many things, including family ('ohana') and her sister's job search. Lilo tries to talk to other little girls about dolls and her new 'dog,' but is rejected. Lilo also talks to the Grand Councilwoman at the end of the movie, and informs her that she has 'adopted' Stitch (so he must remain on Earth).

So, there are plenty of strong, interesting female characters, and their actions and choices drive the movie.

I admit I haven't seen the movie very recently, but I don't think the examples listed count, with the possible exception of discussion of ohana, because Stitch is male. (Okay, that may be pushing it.) That said, the movie is mostly female driven and oriented.

It totally passes the test. Lilo & Nani talk about their "broken" family & how it's hard for them to get along before Stitch ever comes along.

Of course this passes the test. Nani and Lilo have an entire screaming match about each other's faults, and then a reconciliation where they talk about their past, their present and their future. All without the mention of a man.

It's a very clear pass. Lilo and Nani talk to each other a lot, mostly about their family. It'd be nice if you could take the dubious flag off.

also, Nani talks to Mrs. Hasegawa about a job at her grocery store. but even without that, Lilo & Nani talk about plenty of things that aren't Stitch.
