The protagonist as well as the majority of secondary and tertiary characters are women, and it actually fails the reverse test: while there are multiple named male characters, they never talk to each other about something besides a woman.

Failing the reverse test is interesting, as this already is a great girl's flick to recommend. But it's true there are very few major male characters in the story, Tombo really being the only one with any habit to talk.
