There's a few short conversations between the women in the film. At around 18 minutes in, Ann offers Muriel some Rum Coffee, explaining she had been saving it for her, and Muriel thanks her. Less than a minute later, Muriel leaves the room, and Ann comments to Jane that Muriel looks worn out, and Jane agrees. At around 20 minutes in, Muriel returns. Ann asks what is wrong, and Muriel says she is tired, and goes to bed.

Earlier, between 10 and 12 minutes in, Muriel and Ann talk fairly briefly, while Muriel is making introduction at a party, and similarly Muriel talks to Jane. These could could, although the bulk of the conversations are about Tom (who Muriel says she will marry), and Harry (Muriel's current husband).
