The film really only has one character named Sam Bell working alone on the Moon. He sees his wife and daughter on video and in dreams/visions only.

Sam Bell's wife and daughter have one extremely brief conversation with each other (on video) about Sam.

Sam disagreed with the rating and said:
There are two named women in this story: Sam's wife Tess and his daughter Eve. And they're not talking to each other about how cute Sam is in gym shorts; they're talking about how Tess has taught young Eve to say the word "astronaut." The whole point of the scene is how much Sam loves his wife and daughter and wants to get back to them. Not exactly sexist.

The video is a message being sent to the male main character, the conversation could be considered as being with the male main character anyway. "Not exactly sexist" is beside the point. The test is a test for whether there are any independent non-satellite female characters and this film does not have any.
