Bechdel Test Movie List

Ginger Snaps features two female leads - sisters B and Ginger - and includes a number of lesser female roles, including: the girls' mother, Pam; their classmates, though only Trina is given a name; and the school nurse, Ms. Ferry. The sisters talk about art (they stage and photograph death scenes), their classmates, puberty, and Ginger's mauling by and transformation into a werewolf.

The film is so gynocentric that I'm not sure it passes the reverse Bechdel.

at first i thought the reverse bechdel might be something about criticising the focus on cisgender women. but no, i was wrong, it is worse.

The reverse Bechdel test is a nonsensical argument by sad boys who are disappointed their gender isn't and their gender's feats aren't the focal point of the story for once. It is an irrelevant and thoughtless thing for you or anyone else to point out. Also, the entire point of this website and the test is for and to support women and female characters. If you have a complaint about that, and by bringing up this irrelevant nitpick it sounds like you do, then go somewhere else. Please do better and since you're a woman, you owe it to yourself to do so and to stop trying to please these sad boys.
