Denise talks to her daughter Jess about chores, the car, lying, ghosts, etc. She and husband Roy also speak to a woman doctor about their daughter, but the woman is unnamed. The mother and daughter (Mary and Lindsay) who lived in the house before Jess and her family also show up in brief flashbacks.
