The main characters are all female (Whitney, Zoe, Alice, Michelle and Franny) and talk about things like going to nationals, their bus, and getting enough money to get to where they need to go (among other things).

And yes, this film is not the best representation of women. However, that doesn't negate its pass nor does the pass negate the representation of women. BUT, just because a film fails the test, it doesn't negate the fact that the female characters may be well written either.
