Abby and mother Shelley frequently argue, thought it's mostly about how much time Abby spends with her boyfriend Thad. Abby, Shelley, and Kelsey greet each other on Thanksgiving and Shelley and Kelsey discuss Shelly's problems with Abby. Abby tries to persuade Brittany and Lauren that her father's coming to rescue them; they tell her not to anger Carl ("Daddy"). Lauren goes into labor and begs Abby to perform an emergency c-section.
There are a number of women in the film, but (spoiler alert!) they're almost all victims of a serial killer, and most of their discussions revolve around men.
