Like always, the main question is whether the Nurse counts. If she does, then this movie passes, no question.

Other than that, passing rests on the interactions between Juliet and Lady Capulet.

This version is more complete and contains the scenes involving Juliet and her mother, unlike some newer adaptations.

It's dubious because there are a few scenes that may be circumstantially about men, but are not directly.

When Juliet is disowned by her father for refusing to marry Paris, she turns to her mother and begs her not to disown her and to delay the wedding or she will die. Lady Capulet responds that Juliet should not speak with her and is free to do whatever she wants because she is done with her. The situation is about the marriage with Paris, but could also be viewed as simply being Juliet seeking not to be cast out and her mother rejecting her.

The next scene is Lady Capulet and Juliet speaking together ont he night before her wedding, with Lady Capulet asking if she can help her pack [for the wedding the next day to Paris], but Juliet says she is fine and wants to be alone. Her mother tells her to get some rest, because she will need it and the two say goodbye. When she leaves, Juliet says goodbye because she doesn't know if they'll see one another again after she takes the potion.

If the Nurse is counted, which I think she could (though there's a good argument to be made against the fact that she has no name compared to several minor male characters who do), then there are many scenes that would count.

The Nurse is a major figure that many actresses beg to play. I don't see how she can be discounted just because we don't know her given name. Granted, many of her conversations revolve around Romeo, and that might be a reason not to count her conversations, but she is definitely a major character.
