Bechdel Test Movie List

Obviously, as the plot revolves around Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) marooned alone on a south seas island, there are few opportunities for female characters to interact. The main female character, and love interest for Noland is Kelly (Helen Hunt). There are a couple of other named female characters (e.g. a pilot, Gwen) but there are no interactions between women, except for a brief conversation at a Christmas dinner scene, but this involves Kelly being teased about her relationship with Chuck. So the film just passes the first test.
