This is an extremely interesting movie for the Bechdel test, because it passes in a way almost no other movie could. Over the course of the movie, a pair of women connect and communicate with one another increasingly deeply, even though they are not expected to or supposed to, and it changes each of them. To describe this further would be to spoil some of the plot, but I've never seen connection between women shown quite like this (and I think this is a very underrated movie in general).
