I'm unsure if you're referencing Pieces of April (2003), directed by Peter Hedges, but since the character names and April's (estranged) relationship with her mother match, and since the IMDb link on this page leads us there, I'm assuming this is the movie.
I believe this movie passes all three criteria. For one example, April tries to appeal to a woman in her building who won't allow meat into her apartment. Beth, Joy, and Dottie all converse about April and each other in the car (though, yes, two men are present). April attempts to explain her family situation to Evette, and, to her neighbors (some of whom are women) who don't speak English, April tries to explain the Thanksgiving holiday.
Also, in the kitchen scene, April and Evette discuss cooking. Though this scene may not count since Evette's husband is there.
