The match is strained according to the named qualities, but the spirit of the match is strong. The lead is a woman, Wren, and the whole story is hers. the story is directed and produced by women and tells a classic narcissist tale with a female lead. While many of the conversations are about men for the half of the time, the men are objects in this movie. The men are a means to end - money, travel, fame. Seems like this fits the real feminist idea of a woman's story told by women even though the woman is not that admirable.

Allison disagreed with the rating and said:
I feel like this fails the test because the conversations are about men and with unnamed women. It doesn't pass because it's a feminist film if it still fails the actual test, as the Bechdel test isn't a test of whether the film is GOOD or FEMINIST. (Especially since the original idea of the test was that mainstream films are alienating to queer women specifically.)
