I would like to point out that this movie not only passes the test with flying colors, there is not even a hint of a love interest for the main character (Laurel) - something rarely spared a female main character. Either female main characters serve primarily AS love interests for the main male character, or part of their "protagonist's quest" involves finding a husband in some way.

One of the GREATEST CHRISTMAS FILMS EVER! It's interesting, honest, and HILARIOUS. And unheard of. Why? Perhaps because the main character is black and both main characters are women. The plot is essentially the Bechdel Test for Women on Wall Street. Sure the film ignores that Wall Street is evil, but it's not about that. It's about women struggles in the workplace. Women even struggle in evil workplaces. If the Bechdel test is important to you then watch this film. And PAY for it. No skimping on this one. It's worth the $.
