Katinka, while fighting Matilda, attempts to insult Matilda's outfit by saying she got it at K-mart. Matilda reveals it is actually from JC Penny.

Just re-watched this film last night. Technically, yes, you're right. But the scene you're talking about takes up less than 30 seconds in an 87 minute movie. Are we really willing to count such scant, irrelevant remarks as passing the bechdel test, which is about women's representation in cinema? I personally don't count any dialogue less than a minute.

I was surprised to see it in a film making parody on all things male but it qualifies. If a man had interrupted, I'd be inclined to say no but the women finished their fight and the story continued.

Gosh darn it! I wanted to be the first person to make a movie that passed the test and subjugated women at the same time! I hope that the movie proves that passing the test doesn't mean that the movie is feminist approved.

I was just gonna say that... I searched for movies I was SURE would've failed, but to see this sexist/juvenile movie pass was surprising. Damn.

wow they really played with us for most of the movie - Katrina says a lot of lines to Mathilda in each of the acts of the film, but Mathilda doesn't say anything proper (or not about Zoolander) back to her until that final fight! BOOM POW COMEBACK BECHDEL! ring the bech-bell and turn to the left~
