Amy: Do you live here too?
Susan: Well...Yes, I do. Sometimes I do.

They aren't mentioning a man, but it's implied that Susan is living with Amy's father.

I love this movie and I know that it passes the test, but in my opinion, the fact that it passes by such a tiny exchange; a single phrase, makes it fail in spirit. The movie is about Amy's adjustment to her new life which includes getting used to the Dad's girlfriend. The two female characters have stuff to say to each other and the fact that Amy and Susan do not say anything else directly to each other for 2 hours (that span the geese's whole gosling-hood) is bizarre and ridiculous.

Susie disagreed with the rating and said:
On second thought, I think the above exchange is about a man, because what Amy is really asking is "Are you my Dad's girlfriend?" but she is saying it euphemistically, which is symbolic of her difficulties in adjusting to her new situation. As lovely as the movie is, it should fail the test.

They do have at least one other exchange, directly and alone.

Amy, Amy Listen to me. (NO NO) Listen to me. I know I can never replace your mother. Nobody can. But if you let me, I can be your friend. And the first rule of friends is they have to be able to trust each other, right? I promise you nothing is going to happen to those geese. Nothing. I won't let it and neither will your dad. That's a promise.
