I think "Eat Pray Love" is a good movie for women. It shows a woman who makes her own choices, and men are affected by her choices not solely the other way around. She is open to love but wants to see the world and live. She refuses to stay in an unhappy marriage.

This movie does not pass the Bechdel test. The women in the movie are obsessed with women's relationships to men and that is the only thing they talk about to each other. They managed to turn a story about a woman into a story about a bunch of dudes through their relationship to one woman. BS.

I disagree with Charlie. There are several moments where two women talk about food, their children, their countries and religion. It may not be the best movie in the world, but if that is just what you saw, you really missed the overall meaning of the movie.
