Anna tries it on, with her mother around. Anna asks Jeanne about the size of her breasts when she was the same age as hers. Jeanne says they were the same size as hers at the same age.
-Anna pays a visit to a female friend. Friend is about to go on holidays with her family, but her mother allows her to have a walk with Anna before they leave. Anna and friend talk about boys. They smoke a cigarette. Friend uses a small bottle of spray perfume to cover cigarette smell. She then gives Anna the perfume bottle as a present, "so that you can think of me".
