Nearly all the conversations between women are between Lauren and Lara, and while they occasionally talk about something else they always drift back to the topic of men. There is a brief exchange not about men when Lauren goes to class early, but even then the pretext of that is Lara coming home after spending the night with a man. Otherwise, the only other conversation featuring just women is a short chat about popping pills between Faye Dunaway and Swoozie Kurtz's characters, but that is on the pretext of meeting their sons. Therefore the film probably just about passes technically, but it is dubious.
