Fails on every front here. There is a female marine that is named in the credits, but barely has more than one line. The Governor has an assistant who speaks, but I did not catch a name. She has a conversation with a parent who is identified only as Chai's mum.
However, don't let this put you off. It is an incredible film, and I guess it is not Ron Howard's fault that there were no women who were majorly involved in the rescue.
